Working responsibly towards providing solutions to save environment at global level

Natural resources defines land, water, air, minerals, forests, fisheries, wild flora and fauna etc. which provides fundamental support to life and economic processes. Natural Resources are critical to human life and that’s why its most vulnerable asset to be misused and exploitated by HomoSapiens.

" As per World Bank report- Eleven percent of the earth's vegetated surface (1.2 billion hectares) has been significantly degraded by human activity over the past 45 years, affecting more than 900 million people in 100 countries. Erosion, salinization, compaction, and other forms of degradation affect 30 percent of the world's irrigated lands, 40% of rainfed agricultural lands, and 70% of rangelands. More than one fifth of the world's tropical forests has been cleared since 1960. Globally, 12 million to 15 million hectares of forest are lost every year, in addition to substantial areas of grasslands and wetlands. In 1990, 28 countries, with a total population of about 335 million, experienced “water stress”- availability of less than 1,700 cubic meters per person per year. By 2025, this figure is expected to grow to around 50 countries, affecting some 3 billion people. " (Reference: World Bank)

Strengthening agriculture systems is one way to promote NRM, as agriculture is closely linked to natural resources such as land, water, and biodiversity.

Under agriculture Logikoof has worked with International Organisations, such as GIZ, DFID, USAID and as well State Agriculture Universities and KVKs in many states of the country.

Our Other partners are MANAGE, CDB Kerala and many more.

  • We developed Agri Advisory systems such as niceSSM (nicessm.org), niceCDB.

For farmers, especially small-scale farmers, it is hard to find appropriate information on agriculture, therefore, there is a need for a clearly structured platform that promotes targeted dissemination of knowledge.

The niceSSM online web platform allows knowledge providers from various domains of agricultural science to share knowledge in a decentralized way across a wide range of subjects to address local needs. Farmers can easily access relevant information on their android phones and tablets for their contexts. niceSSM provides knowledge asymmetry across various expert agencies in local language to the farmers.

NICE currently builds on knowledge and expertise of over 1200 experts and extension cadre and delivers localised advisories to around 457,213 farmers.

NICESSM has been adopted by JNKVV (Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya) Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh and MPKV (Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth) Rahuri, Maharashtra to rebrand and scaleout in their jurisdictions completely.
